Sleep and Breathing Health was ResMed’s largest reported segment, with $4.978 billion in FY2026 revenue. Segment revenue increased 10% from $4.505 billion in FY2025; the company reported constant-currency growth of 9%.

| Devices | $2.892 billion | Up 9% from $2.665 billion |
| Mask and other | $2.085 billion | Up 13% from $1.840 billion |
Source: ResMed Inc. Form 10-K for the year ended June 30, 2026. The mask-and-other category is ResMed’s company-defined category and includes masks and other products.
The prior fiscal comparison shows the same two categories growing from FY2024 to FY2025. Device revenue increased 9% from $2.444 billion, while mask-and-other revenue increased 11% from $1.657 billion; both are reported-currency comparisons.
FY2026 device revenue was $1.768 billion in the Americas and $1.124 billion in Rest of World. Mask-and-other revenue was $1.513 billion in the Americas and $572 million in Rest of World, using the company’s FY2026 product and geography presentation.
ResMed Geographic Revenue Statistics and Growth
ResMed’s FY2026 filing uses the renamed geographic categories Americas and Rest of World, and says the prior-period methodology remains comparable. The categories should not be confused with the separate United States versus all-other-locations presentation used in FY2025 geographic-area data.
| FY2026 company geography | Revenue | FY2026 change |
|---|---|---|
| Americas | $3.281 billion | Up 9% from $2.998 billion |
| Rest of World | $1.697 billion | Up 13% from $1.507 billion |
Source: ResMed Inc. Form 10-K for the year ended June 30, 2026. Rest-of-World constant-currency growth was 7%, compared with reported-currency growth of 13%.
The FY2025 geographic-area figures use a different grouping. United States revenue was $3.286 billion in FY2025, up from $2.980 billion in FY2024, while revenue from all locations outside the United States was $1.861 billion in FY2025, up from $1.705 billion in FY2024.
Source: ResMed Inc. Form 10-K for the year ended June 30, 2025. Because the geographic definitions differ, these figures should not be treated as a direct replacement for the Americas and Rest-of-World segment table.
ResMed Residential-Care Software and Digital Health Statistics
Residential Care Software revenue was $676 million globally in FY2026, up 5% from $641 million in FY2025. The reported constant-currency increase was 4%; in FY2025, revenue had increased 10% from $584 million in FY2024.
Source: ResMed Inc. Form 10-K for the year ended June 30, 2026 and ResMed Inc. Form 10-K for the year ended June 30, 2025. Residential Care Software is a company-defined segment.
Residential Care Software represented approximately 12% of FY2026 total revenue when calculated from the reported $676 million segment figure and $5.653 billion total revenue. This is a derived ratio, not a company-reported share.
ResMed’s 2025 proxy statement described a worldwide mission population of 2.3 billion people with sleep apnea, insomnia, respiratory insufficiency due to COPD and neuromuscular disease, or a need for home health technology. That is a company estimate across several conditions and technology needs, not a count of ResMed customers.
The same proxy discussion reported three named digital-diagnostic acquisitions: NightOwl, Somnoware and VirtuOx. The count applies to the acquisitions named in that discussion, not to ResMed’s complete lifetime acquisition history.

Selling, general and administrative expense was $1.120 billion in FY2026, up 13% from FY2025; the constant-currency increase was 10%. These are GAAP operating expenses reported for global ResMed.
ResMed Patient, Therapy and Clinical-Context Statistics
The clinical figures in ResMed’s FY2026 filing describe selected populations and cited evidence. They are not general-population prevalence figures and should not be interpreted as a count of ResMed users.
| Population or outcome | Reported figure | Definition and period |
|---|---|---|
| New PAP patients who were female | Nearly 40% | As reported in the FY2026 filing; study design not fully specified |
| Patients with drug-resistant hypertension with sleep apnea | Approximately 83% | Cited clinical evidence; selected patient population |
| Patients with obesity with sleep apnea | Approximately 77% | Cited clinical evidence; selected patient population |
| Patients with chronic heart failure with sleep apnea | Approximately 76% | Cited clinical evidence; selected patient population |
| Patients with type 2 diabetes with sleep apnea | Approximately 72% | Cited clinical evidence; selected patient population |
Source: ResMed Inc. Form 10-K for the year ended June 30, 2026. The association estimates range from 72% to 83% across separate clinical populations and must not be combined into one prevalence measure.
In the cited study of people with obstructive sleep apnea, patients who initiated and continued PAP therapy were 39% more likely to survive over three years than those who did not receive PAP therapy. The filing describes this as observational or clinical evidence; it is not an absolute survival rate or a randomized-treatment effect.
ResMed also cited a 2022 epidemiology study estimating approximately 480 million people worldwide had COPD. COPD is broader than ResMed’s treated patient population, and the figure is an epidemiological estimate rather than a customer count.
Finally, the filing cited an estimate that approximately 90% of patients with obesity hypoventilation syndrome also have obstructive sleep apnea. That is a clinical-population estimate, not prevalence among all people with obesity.
